Phillips Park offers many facilities. Near its entrance, there is a large ballfield. In the main portion of the park, there is a restroom/concession/shelter building, two lighted baseball fields, lighted basketball court, a picnic area, a large playground area, and four soccer fields. A paved walking path winds through the park.
Additionally, Phillips Park is an access point for Simpson Ridge Trail, a 0.42 round-trip path. The trail follows the wooded area of Simpson Forest, Loveland's remnant of Old Growth Forest. This natural treasure provides recreation opportunities for citizens, sequesters atmospheric carbon, mitigates stormwater issues, and reduces erosion of steep hillsides.
