On Wednesday, July 4, the City will hold its annual Independence Day parade. Kids are encouraged to decorate their bikes, scooters, wagons, and pets to be part of the parade. Adults are welcome to join in the fun, too. New this year is a neighborhood float contest. Loveland neighbors are encouraged to design a float with a Fourth of July theme. it doesn't have to be elaborate, it just has to be fun. Parade organizers are always looking for marching bands, musical groups, dance teams, drill teams, cheerleaders, classic and custom cars, groups and businesses to be in the parade. The parade begins at 7 p.m. at Loveland Elementary School (600 Loveland Madeira Road) and travels down W. Loveland Avenue, ending at St. Rt. 48. Line up begins at 6:15 p.m. Don't wait, register now by clicking here.
