Apply for Loveland U

Loveland U Logo

Loveland U is back for 2023, and space is limited for this popular program that gives participants a “behind the scenes” look at the city!

“Whether you are a newcomer or have lived here many years, Loveland U offers a perspective on the city’s structure and local organizations,” said Mayor Kathy Bailey.

Loveland U consists of 10 sessions held weekly Sept. 6 – Nov. 8. Each session is hands-on with minimal lecture time. Participants will obtain knowledge and provide feedback about issues, plans, and activities of the Loveland community.

For instance, one session covers property rights versus community good, and participants are challenged to review a case study.

The following is a session list (subject to change):

  • Loveland Museum Center
  • Little Miami Conservancy
  • Loveland Planning & Zoning Dept.
  • Loveland-Symmes Fire Dept.
  • Loveland Police Dept.
  • Loveland Stage Company
  • Mock City Council Meeting
  • Loveland City Schools
  • Loveland Public Works Dept.
  • Loveland U Graduation

Applicants must be at least age 18 and live or work in the City of Loveland, or be a member of a civic organization based in Loveland. Apply online by June 30, 2023.
