[ARCHIVED] Blair's Term Comes to End

Kent Blair

Council Member Kent Blair's final Loveland City Council meeting was Nov. 28. He was recognized for his service to the city.

Mr. Blair has served on City Council since 2017 and did not run for re-election. His seat will be replaced by Brian Goodyear, who will take the oath of office on Dec. 4.

During the meeting, Mayor Kathy Bailey and Council presented Mr. Blair with a wooden map of the city, noting that he is an accomplished woodworker. Mayor Bailey praised Mr. Blair’s humbleness, unselfishness and high integrity, among other traits.

“Kent has an unrivaled enthusiasm for the city. He is one of Loveland’s biggest cheerleaders,” she stated.

Mayor Bailey described Mr. Blair’s roles on the Community Improvement Corporation and the Finance Commission. She noted his background in finance, which was an asset throughout his multiple terms on Council.

“I really appreciated Kent’s involvement in the Finance Commission. He used his background to describe matters to City Council and residents in ways that everyone could understand,” Bailey explained.
