Repairing East Loveland Avenue is a collaborative project between the City of Loveland, Clermont County, and the Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD). There are many parts of this large project:
- Clermont County is providing $478,320 for the replacement of the bridge on East Loveland Avenue over Bares Run near #250 E. Loveland Ave.
- MSD will replace and upsize about 1,300 LF of the sanitary sewer from #220 to #362 E. Loveland Ave. MSD is paying a total of approximately $686,200 for the sanitary sewer work.
- The city is receiving $722,400 of state grant funding to install sidewalks on both sides of the road between #227 to #356, relocate water main around the future bridge wingwalls, make storm sewer system improvements, and repave a portion of the roadway while the bridge replacement project is being performed.
Project Dates
Start Date: Road closure begins Jan. 30, 2024
Estimated Date for Road to Reopen: May 2024
Estimated Completion: August 2024
Closures & Detour
While aspects of the work may be performed with a single lane closure and maintaining traffic with flaggers, the bridge replacement and some underground utility work will require a full roadway closure and detour route. The full road closure will be in 2024 but is dependent on utility relocation and weather.
