Welcome the holiday season at Loveland’s Christmas Tree Lighting Festival on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 4-8 p.m. in Historic Downtown Loveland.
This marks the fourth year for the festival, which features holiday fun for all ages. Admission is free. The event will take place in the center of Historic Downtown along the Little Miami Scenic Trail and at Jackson Street Market (116 Karl Brown Way).
At approximately 7:45 p.m., Mayor Kathy Bailey and local celebrity Julie O’Neill will flip the switch to light the city’s Christmas tree, a pine standing more than 60 feet tall along the trail. Approximately 2,500 lights and 250 ornaments will adorn the tree, which will remain lit through the holiday season.
Immediately following the tree lighting ceremony, a holiday themed drone show by Rozzi’s Fireworks will cap off the evening. Approximately 100 drones will be synced to music for a spectacular, one-of-a-kind experience!
Festive fun will happen throughout the evening to entertain kids of all ages:
- Winter holiday market
- Holiday entertainment with performances by vintage carolers, American Idol finalists Michael Williams, Clermont Chorale, and Anita & The Daves
- Kids’ crafts
- Photo opportunities
- Christmas train rides
