[ARCHIVED] Arrest of Brandon Montoya

On January 23, a suspect drove into a parking lot on West Loveland Avenue and exposed his genitals to a young girl. On February 3, Detective Anthony Pecord signed charges on Brandon Montoya for Indecent Exposure after a thorough investigation. On February 6, Brandon Montoya surrendered to the Hamilton County Jail.

Chief Dennis Sean Rahe said, “This is a great example of extraordinary investigative work. Officer Shawn Parks talked with a neighbor who had video of the suspect’s car during a routine canvass of the area. The video showed the suspect’s car had two different wheels on the left side. That made it unique. Detective Anthony Pecord recalled a cold case he investigated from 2016 with similar circumstances where he had identified a possible suspect. When they linked the suspect from the 2016 cold case as the owner and driver of the car in the video, they knew they had him.”

The Loveland Police Department encourages anyone with any information on this incident, or on similar incidents, to contact Detective Anthony Pecord at 513-774-3009.
