On August 11, 2020, Deputy Chief, Mike Books, on behalf of the Loveland Symmes Firefighters’ Association, presented a donation to Pat Furterer, President of the Loveland Stage Company. The donation from the firefighters’ association, was in an effort to help the stage company offset the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the presentation, Mayor, Kathy Bailey commented “How great it is to see one icon in the city helping out another.” Pat Furterer thanked the Firefighters’ Association for the donation and all that they have done to help the Loveland Stage Company over their many years.
