[ARCHIVED] Retiring Director of Finance, Michelle Byrde recognized at City Council Meeting

Retiring Director of Finance, Michelle Byrde was recognized at the December 8, 2020 City Council meeting, with a gift from the city, presented to her by Mayor Kathy Bailey. Michelle served the citizens of the City of Loveland since 2012, which included holding three different positions. During Michelle's tenure as Director of Finance, the city received multiple awards for budgeting and financial reporting.  Mayor Bailey stated, "Michelle was very honest, dedicated and competent as she served the city.” The Mayor added “Myself and City Council always knew we were in good hands with you at the helm of the Finance Department." City Manager, David Kennedy, who has worked with Michelle for over six years, said "Michelle is a great steward of the city's finances, and one of the hardest workers I have ever had the privilege to work with"
