[ARCHIVED] City Welcomes Two New Employees

oath combined

At the January 12 City Council meeting, Mayor Kathy Bailey issued the oath of office to two new city employees: Joy Deardorff and Krista Rose.

Joy, the city’s new part-time Human Resources Manager, began her employment January 4. Joy has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati and volunteers for Xavier University Parents Council, Ursuline Academy, and Christ the King Parish. She comes from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office where she served for 15 years as Human Resources Manager. We welcome Joy to the city, and thank former Human Resources Manager, Julie Robinson, for assisting Joy throughout her first few days.

Krista started her employment with the city January 5 in the newly created position of Marketing and Communications Coordinator. Krista earned a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. Krista brings more than 10 years of experience in digital and print marketing to her role.
