[ARCHIVED] City Offices Closed Feb. 3

logo cropped

City offices will be closed on Thursday, February 3, due to impending inclement weather. Essential personnel will report to work as scheduled.

Mayor's Court scheduled for February 3 at 4 p.m. has been cancelled. Everyone scheduled to appear will be automatically rescheduled for court on February 24.

Snow-covered streets will be plowed and salted according to established priorities that are based on traffic volume, public safety, and access to emergency facilities and schools. During major snowstorms, Public Works will plow and salt continuously prior to high volume traffic hours, if conditions allow.

A few reminders from Public Works:

  • Remove basketball hoops, toys, etc. from your cul-de-sac or the end of your driveway.
  • Check to make sure your mailboxes are securely attached. Heavy snow and/or ice thrown off plow blades sometimes knocks loose mailboxes off.
  • If possible, please park your vehicles off the street.

Thank you for your cooperation, and please be safe if you need to travel!
