The City of Loveland has earned the Ohio Auditor of State Award with Distinction.
The award recognizes the Finance Department’s transparency. Less than 5% of reporting organizations in Ohio receive this award.
Director of Finance Mark Medlar accepted this award on behalf of the city. He explained that the award is based on an organization’s annual audit — essentially, it means the city had a “clean audit” with its books in order, all deadlines met, money spent where it was budgeted, etc.
“This award shows that trust has not been misplaced. Our taxpayers have full transparency to the city’s finances,” Medlar stated.
