Native Planting

Friday, April 26
10 a.m.
Phillips Park

Help improve the health of Phillips Park by planting native plant communities that sustain local wildlife, including bees, butterflies, songbirds, and so much more! Phillips Park has a new hiking trail, and invasive plants near Fallis Road recently were removed. Bring a pair of gloves, some shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, and your enthusiasm for community service and conservation. This event is part of an initiative to improve the health of Loveland’s public green spaces — your work will be viewed and appreciated by numerous patrons. Junior high school students and above are welcome to participate for volunteer hours.
