The City of Loveland is deeply saddened to share the passing of former City Council Member Angela Settell, who faithfully served our community from 2011 to 2015, including time as Vice Mayor.
Angela brought a wealth of expertise in finance, human resources, and income tax to her role, making her an invaluable asset to the City’s Finance Commission, Planning and Zoning Commission, and numerous other boards and committees. Her leadership and dedication left a lasting impact on the community she loved.
Her service extended well beyond City Council. Angela was a member of the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department Board and the Loveland Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, having completed both the LSFD and LPD citizen academies. She generously shared her time and talents in planning community events, participating in local clubs and social groups, and championing initiatives that strengthened connections among residents.
Angela’s love for Loveland was evident in all she did. She will be remembered for her commitment, her generosity of spirit, and the many ways she gave back to the place she called home. Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends during this difficult time.
