LOVELAND, OHIO (November 13, 2025) - The City of Loveland invites the community to gather in Historic Downtown Loveland for an evening of festivities and fun at the 5th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Festival on Saturday, December 6, from 4–8 p.m.
This cherished annual event rings in the holiday season with sights, sounds, and smiles for all ages. The highlight of the evening will be the lighting of the city’s magnificent Christmas tree — a pine standing more than 60 feet tall along the Little Miami Scenic Trail near West Loveland Avenue. The tree will sparkle with approximately 2,500 lights and 250 ornaments, creating a beautiful holiday centerpiece in the heart of the city.
Festivalgoers can enjoy family-friendly activities, seasonal entertainment, and festive treats throughout downtown. Local businesses and community organizations will join in the celebration, making this a perfect evening to experience Loveland’s warm holiday spirit.
The festival also features the second annual City of Loveland Gingerbread House Contest, inviting residents and businesses to showcase their creativity and holiday cheer. All entries will be on display during the festival. Participants can register online at https://www.lovelandoh.gov/FormCenter/Event-Participation-12/2025-Gingerbread-House-Contest-158.
“Each year, the Christmas Tree Lighting Festival brings together neighbors, families, and friends to celebrate the season and our community,” said Mayor Kathy Bailey. “We look forward to welcoming everyone downtown for this wonderful Loveland tradition.”
