The City of Loveland has been awarded a $4.6-million grant through the OKI Regional Council of Governments to improve the Loveland-Madeira Road Corridor. This will fund a project to improve Loveland-Madeira Road from West Loveland Avenue to just past Valley View Lane. Plans include:

  • A new roundabout at Valley View Lane, providing direct access into the Chestnut Street Property
  • Streetscape enhancements
  • Pedestrian/biker shared-use pathway improvements
  • Storm water elements including storm water tree wells
  • Conduit for utility relocations
  • Street lighting

Because of the large scope of work, the project requires very specific engineering and design activities that must follow the procedures and timelines set by funding agencies. Design and engineering activities will occur between 2024-2026 with construction anticipated to commence in 2027.Other phases of revitalization for the Loveland-Madeira Road Corridor are being planned. This will carry improvements all the way south to the city limits past Oasis Turf & Tree/Castle Skateland/Kroger area.
