Natural Gas Aggregation

Natural Gas IconIGS Energy will mail opt-out notices to existing customers of the natural gas aggregation program and newly eligible customers in January 2020. These opt-out notices must be sent every two years by state law. The notices will inform existing customers that service will continue with IGS Energy beginning with the April 2020 billing cycle unless the resident opts out. There will be no interruption in service from IGS Energy. Newly eligible customers will receive a letter informing them that their account will be added unless they opt-out. Residents can leave the program at any time with no early termination fee. The notices will feature the City of Loveland logo. Sample copies of these letters are provided below:

The goal of the aggregation program is to cumulatively beat the price offered by the local utility. The City has a four (4) year term with IGS Energy. There is no early termination fee for those who participate and leave early.
