Welcome to the Loveland Police Department! Our Mission is to provide Excellent Customer Oriented Service with Integrity while Continuously Improving.
The Loveland Police Department (LPD) operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We offer a variety of services for our community. Visit the pages to the left to learn more!
LPD staffs 19 full time police officers including the police chief, four lieutenants, and fourteen patrol officers. Many of our team members have multiple roles at LPD. We have three evidence technicians, two Taser instructors, two firearms instructors, a K9 team, three school resource officers, six bike patrol officers, one detective, and two defensive tactics instructors.
Our Administrative Team is led by the systems manager and includes an administrative assistant and a mayor’s court clerk.
