Historic Preservation and Planning Commission

The Historic Preservation and Planning Commission approves the appropriateness of the demolition, construction, preservation, restoration, and rehabilitation of any home, commercial structure, or new construction within the designated historic district.

Historic Structure Designation Plaques

The commission recommends properties for City Council to historically designate. Recognized properties receive a  commemorative plaque.

  • "Homestead" at White Pillars Subdivision (2021)
  • Bonaventure House at Loveland Museum Center (2023)
  • The Works (2023)


Commission Meetings

The Historic Preservation and Planning Commission meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at Loveland City Hall.
