The Hill-Wagoner Cemetery consists of .33 acres is located in warren County adjacent to the Blossom Hill development and just southwest of the Sentry Hill neighborhood. The first recorded burial in the cemetery is September of 1800, and there are approximately 100 grave sites.
Committee Membership & Selection
The committee's mission is to advise City Council on the preservation, general operation, and maintenance of the Hill-Wagoner Cemetery.
The Hill-Wagoner Cemetery Preservation Committee shall be composed of no more than five members with four members appointed by City Council and one member appointed by the Loveland Museum Center Board of Trustees.
All committee members shall serve without compensation for the term of two years. However, the first appointments of the committee shall include two members being appointed for a term of two years and three members being appointed for a term of three years. The first appointment from the Loveland Museum Center Board of Trustees shall be for a term of three years.
The committee is authorized to seek private contributions, grants, and other funding for the cemetery consistent with the city budget and the approval of the City Manager.
